The results of the MAD Video Music Awards


The 4th annual Mad Video Music Awards were held tonight in Athens, Greece

Helena Paparizou (Greece 2001, 2005), dressed in (chic) black started the show with a full of 60s feeling medley: a cover of "Let the sunshine in" (5th Dimension), followed by her latest hit "Mi Fiyis".

Mihalis Hatzigiannis (Cyprus 1998) also appeared on stage, singing his version of "Tonight / Simera" with Reamonn.


Tamta entered the stage on a vespa (Greece NF 2007) and sang Mika's Relax (Take it easy) in a hi-nrg mash-up with her new hit single "Ayapise me".
The big winner of the night was Mihalis Hatzigiannis, having won 4 awards, while Helena Paparizou left with 2 awards. The Eurostars that were awarded are:

Best video clip (dance): Sakis Rouvas
Best video clip (pop): Mihalis Hatzigiannis
Best video clip (laiko): Peggy Zina

Best video clip (male artist): Mihalis Hatzigiannis

Best video clip (female artist): Helena Paparizou
Best video clip (director): Kostas Kapetanidis (Greece 2005 video clip director)
Best video clip of the year: Mihalis Hatzigiannis
MAD VMA for the best dressed artist in a video clip: Helena Paparizou
Best video clip by MAD Bulgaria: Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankoulov
MAD VMA for the artist with the most shown video clip on MAD: Mihalis Hatzigiannis
