Marija's back up singers :The Beauty Queens
Sanja Bogosavljevic, Ana Milenkovic, Suzana Dinic, Ivana Selakov and Ksenija Milosevic, aka The Beauty Queens, who backed up Marija Serifovic on the Helsinki stage during the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest have embarked on their new career.
Most of the band's members are no strangers to the Eurovision Song Contest. Ksenija is a popular violin player and was a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Eurovision Song Contest team in 2006, performing on stage with Hari Mata Hari.
Suzana Dinic participated in the 2007 Serbian national semi final Beovizija with Nudim Ti Srce Svoje but she didn't manage to get to the final. Ivana Selakov was a Serbian final participant in 2006 and Ana Milenkovic, tried her luck back in 2004 when she participated in the national final as well.
The five Serbian ladies, having taken part in the Budva festival, are currently preparing for a festival in Ohrid towards the end of the month when they will perform Ne mogu da te ne volim (I can't help loving you).
Ana Milenkovic managed to place third, winning a prize of 2.000 dollars, at the recent Slavjanski bazar in Belarus singing Rano je za tugu by Haris Dzinovic and Nocas mi srce pati by Silvana Armenulic
Blic, the Serbian newspaper asked the Beauty Queens whether they would perform with Marija Serifovic again : "If she invites us to her concert in Belgrade, we will accept an invitation. However, we have too many obligations right now, so it would be extremely difficult to coordinate our engagements."
