Petition for San Marino

An online petition has been created by concerned Eurovision Song Contest fans in order to put pressure on San Marino officials, so that the European microstate participates at the next Eurovision Song Contest. The creators wish to have the Italian language represented in the contest and they feel that, at the same time, tourism and the economy of the European microstate will be promoted inside Europe.
As revealed last month by esctoday.com, the state's broadcaster SMRTV is not averse to the idea of joining the Eurovision Song Contest. Actually, they were considering trying it last year but the project was shelved under pressure from the shareholders, including Italian national broadcaster, RAI.
So, local fans have decided to take action and they created an online petition which they aim to include in the dossier they will submit to politicians and the press. "They should understand that Eurovision is a strong way to promote a republic so close to the Riviera of Rimini. The Riviera has become one of the most important holiday resorts, attracting an increasing number of tourists from Eastern Europe that hardly know what and where San Marino is." Marco, the organiser of the petition says. And he asks for the assistance of fans from all over Europe to put pressure on local authorities. Already, 400 fans have signed the petition, which is expected to be popular amongst locals and Eurovision Song Contest fans.

Romanian-Greek cooperation for Yiorgos Tsalikis

Morandi is a Romanian pop band composed by Marius Moga and Andreas Tefas Ropcea. They participated this year at the Romanian National Final with the songs “Dracula my love” and “Crazy”, the first one was disqualified from the semifinal and the second one was withdrawn the last moment. Marius Moga is 23 years old and he “owns” 70% of the Romanian music industry. He is now in contact with several singers and composers from various countries after the success he had all over Europe. As he recently stated in an interview, apart from the albums he is composing for the Romanian artists he is also in touch with Yiorgos Tsalikis, the popular Greek singer.
As Marius Moga said in his interview, he has already composed some songs for Tsaliki’s next album that is going to be released soon while the lyrics are going to have Nektarios Tyrakis's signature. Nektarios Tyrakis has also penned Shake it, the song that represented Greece in 2004 in Turkey with Sakis Rouvas among numerous other hits in Greece. Morandi is expected to arrive in Greece soon to meet with Tsalikis and Tyrakis, so stay tuned for more information...

So for this editorial I'm asking: What would you change in Eurovision if you had the chance?
