Mr Psomiadis - the prefect of Thessaloniki- took a fine for not wearing helmet

The effects of the new Code of Road Circulation felt also the prefect of Thessaloniki.

Panagiotis Psomiadis led his machine without helmet and was punished with fine 350 Euros and 5 degrees in point system.

Concretely, were published photographs of prefect it leads his machine, while with him was also the winner of the competition of Eurovision Marija Serifovic.

The photographs of prefect, saw the minister of Transports Mihalis Liapis, which in his telephone communication with Road accident Thessaloniki asked for debited fine in Mr. Psomiadis of 350 Euros and ascribed him also five degrees of sentence.

The prefect paid the fine and said:

"I am glad that in the person of Prefect, which is the unique public person who does not wear helmet, is exhausted the gravity of state. I agree with the indications of Mr. Liapis, all should wear helmet, apology for my error ".
