David Civera wouldn't risk entering Eurovision again

from oikotimes.com
Spain's representative from the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest, David Civera, has told newspaper 'La Vanguardia' that he wouldn't risk entering Eurovision again.
In a damning statement as part of his interview with the Spanish national paper the singer, who finished sixth in Copenhagen with "Dile que la quiero", said that now "In Europe there are more political interests than musical in Eurovision".
Asked how he now sees the show, the Spanish singer responded: "It's evolved a lot. Now it's more of a spectacle and much more is being done as a 'show' with the choreography to make it a spectacle over the song."
David also said that he believes that "singers are more worried about other things" instead of the song. Finally, he states his reasons for not entering again: "In Europe there are more political interests in Eurovision that musical ones, so I don't think I'd risk it".
