Mihai Traistariu in Malta

In 3 weeks - the videoclip and the new single will officially be launch in 14 countries in which Mihai has contracts with Record Companies : Greece , Cyprus , Malta , Germany , Austria, Sweetzerland , Sweden , Norway , Denmark, Finland, Spain , Portugal , Romania and Rep. Moldova.

The new cd will be in shops in these countries in 1 month.

This is the 10th album in Mihai' s career and the 17th videoclip.

In June Mihai will have shows in 6 countries : BELARUS , LITHUANIA , SPAIN , MALTA , ITALY AND NORWAY (ALSO FOR EUROVISION SHOW ON 28th).

MIHAI IN NEW WAVE FESTIVAL

Mihai , also , has been chosen in semifinal of one of the biggest European Contest : "New Wave".

There were more than 3000 competitors from all over the world... and after the first selection Mihai has been chosen in the first 100 competitors .

On 11th Mihai will be in Moscow to take part in the semifinal, where a special jury will choose 16 competitors for the big Final. The contest will be held in Jurmala (in Riga) between 25-30 of July and it will be broadcasted in more than 8 countries.

The people will choose their favourites throgh televoting and a jury will select the first 3 awards.

The winners of the competition will get the following awards : 1 - 50.000 dollars 2 - 30.000 dollars 3 - 20.000 dollars

The audience award will lead to the winner a valuable prize from the Company - "Smolensk Diamonds" .

Spain already selecting the Eurovision Dancers

A few weeks ago, the show Mira quien Baila a Eurovision kicked of. The programme is similar to Strictly come dancing although only "unknown" people are taking part. The winning couple will go London.

Preliminary stages have been running since April 30, 20 couples entered the show, hosted by Anne Igartiburu.
Guests of the shows were Emma Ozores, Oscar Ladoire, Maria Reyes, Alex Casademunt (April 30), Milene Domingues, David Civera (ESC 2001 representative, winner of 2nd edition of the show), Claudia Molina and Pedro Reyes (May 7), Carmen Sevilla, Miriam Diaz Aroca, David Meca and Felisuco (May 14), Manolo Sarria, Fernando Romay, Antonia Dell Atte and Estela Gimenez (May 21), Gema Ruiz, Jesus Alvarez, Victoria Vera and Michel Olivares (May 28).

The special selection among celebrity guests of the show will decide the fate of 10,000 Euros prize which will be donated to charity winner supports.

Members of jury: choreographer Poti, actress Tete Delgado, dance experts Joana Subirana and Albert Mota, ballet dancer Antonio Canales and humourist Mariano Mariano.
In each semi jury selects two couples, televoting selects two more and one leaves the project.

Carola vs Helena Paparizou in Melodifestivalen 2008?

Swedish broadcaster SVT will do its utmost to make another spectacle of Melodifestivalen 2008.

The apotheosis of the Swedish selections for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade should be a duel between two former Eurovision Song Contest winners: Carola and Helena Paparizou.

In 2008 it will be exactly 25 years ago since Carola won the Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden with the song Främling. The 40 year-old singer wants as many people as possible to join the celebration. Carola already stated to be interested in another Melodifestivalen participation and another European adventure.

As for Helena Paparizou it is a matter of timing, according to Melodifestivalen organiser Christer Björkman. Ever since the Swedish singer won the Eurovision Song Contest for Greece in 2005, he has been in contact with Helena Paparizou concerning a participation in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest selections.

Meanwhile, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet asked for their readers' opinion. The participants in the poll clearly prefer Helena Paparizou to represent Sweden for the first time in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, rather than Carola for the fourth time.
