Trapped villagers are airlifted to safety while protesters demonstrate against the government's handling of the forest fires.

The demonstrators say they are angry at the government's response to Greece's worst forest fires in decades and they say the arsonists being blamed for starting many of the blazes have been allowed to get away.

The song "Ja Mogu" ended up in 2nd place behind Montenegrin singer Bojan Marovic who won the competition with "Mi Ne Mozemo Vise".

3rd place went to Adrijan Gadza from Macedonia with "Sam se Lazam".

Bulgaria selects song for JESC on 29th September

Bulgaria is one of the newcomers in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year.

The first Bulgarian national selections for the junior contest were presented in Sofia on Friday. Bulgarian broadcaster BNT will hold the national final on Saturday 29th September, the same night as Ukraine and Belgium.

Enrique Iglesias to perform at Eurovision Dance Contest

Enrique Iglesias will be the guest performer at the inaugural Eurovision Dance Contest, taking place in London, United Kingdom next Saturday 1st September.

The international superstar is following in his father's footsteps, Julio represented Spain at the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Gwendolyne.
